Fighting Lethal Tracks

Australian racetracks are lethal for greyhounds with thousands killed and injured every year.

Racing causes pain, suffering and distress as greyhounds constantly collide, fall and collapse.

The US, Scotland, Wales and New Zealand are closing their death tracks and taking action to have this abusive industry closed down. But in Australia, state governments continue to invest millions of dollars of public money into building new and unwanted tracks that ignore the industry’s own safety recommendations.

CPG exposes this animal welfare crisis through traditional and social media as well as challenging racetrack plans. We also provide the only consolidated record of the dogs that suffer injuries and are killed on Australian racetracks.
