21-month-old Charos Fantasy suffered catastrophic injuries to her leg including an “open severely displaced hock and calcaneal fracture“. According to the stewards report she hit the inside running rail, stumbled and collided with another dog. Charos Fantasy “failed to finish” and was killed by the industry vet after the race.
