Thousands of young, healthy greyhounds are killed every year in Australia. They are put to death by a racing industry that treats them like commercial commodities who exist only to make money. If any other breed of dog was treated like this, it would be a crime.
CPG is totally committed to a ban on greyhound racing. Until that happens we will do everything we can to protect greyhounds from over-breeding, doping, unnecessary euthanasia and abuse.
