The 2026 Bush Summit is being held in Dubbo NSW. Like every greyhound track, Dubbo has a long history of animal abuse and shocking behaviour from participants.

The Disqualified President
LANGUAGE WARNING
In May 2026 greyhound racing regulator GWIC found Shayne Stiff guilty of “striking a greyhound” and “restraining a greyhound in a manner likely to cause unnecessary harm or suffering.”
He received a 26 months disqualification.
Mr Stiff was President of Greyhound Clubs NSW and President of Dubbo Greyhound Racing Club, with 41 years history in greyhound racing.
In 2020, GWIC found Stiff guilty of using “contemptuous, unseemly, improper, insulting and offensive language” at a race meeting.
To quote from the inquiry, Stiff had said:
“stop the fuckin’ race, this a no fuckin’ race, you are all fuckin’ idiots”
“It’s a fucking no race”, “There is fuckin stuff on the track, it will be a no race” and “Hold your fuckin’ tickets, Bathurst always fucks with our dogs.”
“You are a useless stupid black cunt.”
“It’s a fucking no race ya fuckin’ idiot”, “It’s a no fuckin race” and “It’s got to be a fucken no race, the fucking tyres were on the track!”
Mr Stiff could be heard from the public betting area where members of the general public, including children, were present.
“[You are a] fucking embarrassment to the industry”;
“…you GWIC cockheads…”;
“You fucking idiots, you fucking imbeciles, that cunt, cockhead staff members, this club’s a fucking joke”;
“…you’re a bunch of cunts, you’re fucking disgraceful”;
“Cockhead staff”;
“Fucking cockheads the lot of you”.
Perhaps it is no surprise that the Dubbo Regional Council doesn’t list the greyhound racing club among its list of local attractions:
