Please join us on 1 August at Parliament House to call for an end to greyhound racing in Queensland.

Australia is one of a handful of countries that still allow greyhound racing, and with a Tasmanian ban on the way, it is time for the rest of the states to get on board.

Please bring your greyhounds to a public rally outside Parliament House hosted by AnimalKind, Friends of the Hound and CPG. We’ll hear from advocates, experts, and concerned Queenslanders as we push for an end to greyhound racing in Queensland, and countrywide.

This year also marks 99 years of greyhound racing in Australia, and 100 years of greyhound racing in the UK.

Join us as we call for:

  • An end to greyhound racing in Queensland
  • A plan to re-home all greyhounds to safe, loving homes
  • Transform all Queensland tracks into beautiful greenspace and sportsfields on public land
  • Provide support for workers to transition to new, productive jobs.
