Tasmanian Lethal Tracks, August 2025

This video shows the reality of Tasmanian greyhound racing.

The incidents – many of which have been removed or edited from official race videos – show the inherent dangers of forcing greyhounds to run at high speeds on lethal tracks. The scenes include the death of famous greyhound Raider’s Guide, whose recent death from a broken neck was a catalyst for the Rockliff Government’s ban on Tasmanian greyhound racing. 

Tasracing is wheeling out the usual false mantras of ‘we love our dogs’ and ‘greyhound racing is safe’. No true dog lover would expose their companion to the dangers of the racetrack.
