Disabled greyhounds forced to race

Twelve young greyhounds lost their lives on Australian tracks in August 2024. Ten were killed by industry on-track vets while a further two died in the catching pen post-race.

The number of greyhounds killed on track dipped slightly in November 2024 but in a disturbing trend at least a further eighteen greyhounds were killed in the days following their race injuries.
