On 17 May 2024, Self Sink was one of three greyhounds to fall in Race 10.
He suffered a fractured spine and was eventually euthanased.
His last moments of agony were captured by the race video, which has been since removed by Greyhound Racing NSW.
They know that if the public saw the reality of greyhound racing the industry would be shut down.
