We always need digital volunteers who can work from home and have experience in one or more of the areas listed below.
If your skills don’t match the list, please apply anyway – we’ll do our best to find a useful way you can contribute.
It would be helpful if you have a prior background as a volunteer in greyhound rescue or in related areas of animal welfare.
Please note CPG is not registered with Centrelink, so cannot provide volunteering which satisfies their requirements.

Online research, writing and analysis
Requires dedication to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, timing is flexible. -
Traditional media - planning, news releases, media liaison and collection of coverage.
Requires a considerable time investment and the ability to respond flexibly to media 24/7 if you'd like to be part of the daily media team. We also have project work available for those with limited time who can work to forward deadlines. -
Backup media spokesperson
Requires a considerable time investment and the ability to respond flexibly to media 24/7. -
Writing government submissions
Requires dedication to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, timing is flexible. -
Admin and support - general computer-based support such as managing files, searching online databases, processing media coverage and liaison tasks.
Requires dedication to detail and computer skills. -
Media law
Requires previous experience in dealing with defamation and libel and related matters, timing will be occasional.
